FUNDACIÓN OPERÍSTICA DE NAVARRA
La FUNDACIÓN OPERÍSTICA DE NAVARRA with headquarters at Cintruenigo in Navarre was born, inspired by Christian principles, with the object of popularizing opera, of giving singers exposure and of collaborating with several other non-profit institutions.
ALMOST 20 YEARS ON THE SCENE
The OPERATIC FOUNDATION OF NAVARRE, with headquarters at Cintruénigo in Navarre was born, inspired by Christian principles, including honesty, work and social justice, with the object of popularizing opera, of giving singers exposure and of collaborating with several other nonprofit institutions. The Group of soloists has recorded several CDs of its concerts and various television programs. It has also performed in many auditoriums, concert halls and theatres throughout Spain and also in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Ecuador, United Arab Emirates, France, Holland, England, Italy, Lebanon, Switzerland, Uruguay and recently Japan.
Our soloists perform every night in the restaurant La Favorita, whose singular building also houses the Madrid headquarters of the Fundación Operística de Navarra.
The Fundación Operística de Navarra has spent almost twenty years working in popularizing opera and collaborating with other beneficent institutions. Especially notable are the performances presented in the Teatro Nacional de la Zarzuela in Madrid, of La Traviata and Tosca for children in benefit of UNICEF, under the Honorary Presidency of Her Majesty the Queen Doña Sofía; the performance upon the conclusion of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union at the Palazzo di Spagna in Rome; two performances in Strasbourg and Brussels attended by the President of the European Parliament; the private performances in the Château de Pregny of the Barons of Rothschild in Switzerland, in the castle of Hochosterwitz of the Princes Khevenhüller-Metz in Austria, and in the Cistercian abbey of Bebenhausen, former residence of the Dukes of Würtemberg in Germany; the concerts in the Teatro de Carabineros and in the Teatro Municipal de Las Condes in Santiago de Chile, as well as the Teatro Nacional Sucre in Quito and, recently, in the Spanish Embassy in Austria for the 450th anniversary of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and at Tokyo. Lastly come our habitual performances in the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid for the benefit of various non-profit institutions.
